APPOINTMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Bhumika Salon and Spa, we value your business and are committed to giving you the best possible experience. Our goal is to provide every client with the time, care, and attention they deserve so you leave feeling refreshed, confident, and beautiful.

To make sure we can deliver this level of service to all clients, we ask that you please respect our business scheduling policy:
​
1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client.
-
If less than 24 hours' notice is given, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
-
If you do not show up without notice, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

2. Exemptions & Grace Policy
We understand that life happens, and sometimes things are out of your control. For this reason:

Each client is allowed one free exemption for a late cancellation or no-show.

After that, fees will be applied unless there is a very valid reason, such as:

Medical emergency​

Family emergency
-
Severe weather or unsafe travel conditions

Exemptions are granted at the discretion of Bhumika Salon and Spa management.

3. Respect for Our Time & Services​
We love having you as our client and are grateful for the trust you place in us. In return, we dedicate our time, skills, and energy to making you look and feel your best.

Because of our commitment, several repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in the denial of future appointments. We kindly ask all clients to respect our cancellation policy, so we can continue serving everyone fairly.

4. Overtime/After-Hours Service

Bhumika Salon and Spas' standard business hours are
-
Monday-Friday 9 am - 6 pm
-
Saturday 10:30 am - 4 pm
-
Sunday 10:30 am - 3 pm
-

Services requested outside of these hours, including appointments that start before closing but run past business hours, will incur an overtime fee as follows:

Less than 2 hours beyond regular hours: 20% of the total service price.​

2 or more hours beyond regular hours: 30% of the total service price.

We are happy to accommodate clients who book long appointments late in the day, as long as they are aware of and agree to the overtime fee.

Overtime services are usually pre-scheduled and approved in advance, but same-day or walk-in appointments may be accepted at our discretion, depending on staff availability and schedule convenience.

This fee ensures fair compensation for staff working beyond regular hours and allows us to continue providing high-quality service to all clients.

REFUND & GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY​

At Bhumika Salon and Spa, we value your satisfaction and the trust you place in us. Our services are tailored to each client, using professional skills, time, and premium products. To ensure fairness to both our clients and our team, we maintain the following refund & gift certificate policies:

1. Services

All services are non-refundable once performed.​

If you are dissatisfied, please notify us within 48 hours. We will gladly provide an adjustment or correction to ensure you are happy with your results​

2. Products
-
Final Sale Products: For health and safety reasons, certain products (such as items containing active chemicals) are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, even if sealed and unused.
-
Opened or used products cannot be returned, unless there is a proven allergic reaction.

3. Deposits
Deposits for appointments are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment with at least 24 hours' notice.​

4. Gift Certificates​

All gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable
-
All gift certificates must be used in one visit and cannot be broken down into multiple appointments or partial uses.

If you schedule an appointment and intend to use your gift certificate but fail to show up or do not provide at least 24 hours' notice, your gift certificate may be forfeited. You will be responsible for paying the service fee out of pocket if you wish to reschedule.

Any unused balance is forfeited if not redeemed in a single setting.

5. Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. At the discretion of Bhumika Salon and Spa Management, exceptions, or credits may be granted in rare cases such as medical concerns or other valid reasons with proof.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO CONSENT POLICY
At Bhumika Salon and Spa we love showcasing our artistry and the beautiful results we create for our clients. From time to time we may ask for your permission (verbal or written) to take photos or videos of your services, which may include your face or likeness. With your consent, these images and videos may be used on our social media, website, and other promotional materials.​​​

1. Important Notes About Consent

By giving consent, you authorize Bhumika Salon and Spa to capture and publish photos/videos of your services.

Once content is published, it may remain in circulation online or be shared by others outside of our control.
-
You may withdraw consent for future use at any time; however, previously published content cannot always be fully removed from third-party platforms.

2. Content Removal Requests
We understand that circumstances may change, and you may later wish for content to be removed from our official platforms. Please note:

Removal requests must be made in writing.​
-
Because creating marketing content requires staff time, editing, uploading/structuring, and removal causes loss of marketing value, a Content Removal Fee of $50 per post/video will apply.

Removal will be processed once the fee has been paid.

We ask clients to carefully consider their decision before granting consent, as your approval helps us showcase our work and grow our small business.

GOOGLE REVIEW & FEEBACK POLICY​

At Bhumika Salon and Spa, we value your feedback and appreciate every review, as it helps us grow and improve. As a small business, each review has a significant impact, so we kindly ask that all clients follow these guidelines when leaving reviews:

MEMBERSHIP POLICY
​
1. Membership Duration:

Membership valid for 4 months.
-
Pay one time upfront fee and use your membership deals as many times for 4 months.
-
After 4 months, membership must be repurchased to continue using it and to be valid.
-
No cancellation allowed once membership is purchased; it will automatically expire in 4 months.
​
2. Memberships are Non-Transferable, Non-Refundable, Non-Exchangeable.
​
3. Service Redemptions:
-
Free monthly services must be redeemed within the month; you can't book it for the next month.
-
Each 4-month membership includes one free eyebrow threading per calendar month (and one free deluxe service per month for Diamond members), totaling a maximum of 4 during the membership period, regardless of the purchase date.
-
Birthday benefit is valid only during the birthday month and must be booked in advance. (Valid photo ID is required to redeem birthday offers).
-
BOGO offers are limited to one use per month per member (limit 4)​
-
Cannot use more than one offer per appointment.
​
4. Referral credits:
-
Referral credits are applied after the referred person completes their first paid visit.
-
The referral credits are applied to the membership client who refers.
-
Cannot refer oneself, combine credits, or transfer credits.
-
Referral credits must be used within the membership period (4 months) for them to remain valid.
​
5. Product Discounts:

Not applicable to promotional bundles or clearance products.
​
6. Non-transferable:
-
Membership and its benefits are for individual use only and cannot be shared or transferred.
​
7. No Cash Value:
-
Free services or credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for other services unless specified.
​
8. Deluxe Services May include:

One waxing service under $40

Eyebrow and/or Eyelash tint

Brow lamination
-
Spa Mani (without gel polish)
-
Gel Polish on Hands or Feet

Henna design under $30
-
Cleansing facial

Head massage

Straight trims or cuts

Shampoo and blow-dry style

9. Services must be booked in Advance

To avoid disappointment, please plan and book your appointments ahead of time.

Calling or attempting to book on the final day with the expectation of same-day service is not permitted.
