But we can suggest some instructions to help your henna stains darker and richest. *Get your spa visit for mani-pedi, waxing or tanning few days ahead not on same day *Get henna two days ahead of your special day to achieve darker stain *Wash the area with soap and warm water and don't apply any lotion before your henna application *Once your henna is dry, seal it with lemon sugar mixture *DO NOT cover henna with any plastic or rubber gloves as it"ll smudge the design. Only use medical tape if required *Leave henna on your hands for minimum 4 hrs (recommended 8 to 10 hrs or overnight) *Do Not use water to remove henna.
